Aug 04, 2023A Review of the New Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 Lens for Fujifilm X Series Cameras
Samyang has long been a favorite brand of budget lens buyers, creating affordable manual focus options that often bunch well above their weight in terms of image quality. The company now includes autofocus in many of their lenses, but prices have remained competitive. The AF 75mm f/1.8 for Fujifilm X Series mirrorless cameras is one such lens, and this excellent video review takes a look at the sort of performance and image quality you can expect from it in usage.
Coming to you from Dylan Goldby, this excellent video review takes a look at the Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 lens for Fujifilm X Series mirrorless cameras. The AF 75mm f/1.8 pairs well with Fujifilm's compact cameras, with its 2.7-inch (6.9-centimeter) footprint and 9-ounce (257-gram) weight, it balances nicely with X Series bodies, making it a potentially fantastic portrait option. Add in two HR (high-refractive) and three ED (extra-low dispersion) elements for improved contrast and sharpness, advanced coating technology for deeper contrast, and a rounded nine-blade diaphragm for smoother bokeh, and it looks like a winner. No doubt, it has some legitimate competition from lenses like the Viltrox 75mm f/1.2 AF, but it looks like a very good performer overall. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Goldby
